Food Share Programme
Donations of food (sell by date) products are collected by Living Grace from various large grocery stores in the south peninsula. The food is delivered to Living Grace where it is sorted by staff and local volunteers and prepared for cooking. cooked meals (Soup / Stews) are decanted into individual meal size portions and frozen. Frozen meals are then delivered to all the branches of Living Hope where they are distributed by Home Based Carers and Support Group Facilitators to the most vulnerable in the disadvantaged communities. These are the very young children, aged and frail and the sick many who are battling with life threatening disease like TB and need nutrition to cope with medication regimes.
