HEALTH CARE CENTER Completed in November 2004 as the Living Hope Community Centre Hospice, the beautiful 22-bed facility is now proudly called the Health Care Centre. The Health Care Centre is comprised of three wards with units for men, women and an isolation area for special needs. Patients, their families and visitors alike are grateful for the cleanliness and professionalism with which the centre is operated, and we believe this is also a tremendous benefit to the patient’s health. The Health Care Center is a place of healing where Christian compassion and care is a priority. The 22 bed Health Care Center in Capri is at the heart of Living Hope’s medical work. One of the largest such facilities in the Western Cape, it serves approximately 230 HIV and AIDS and other patients a year. With the introduction of anti-retrovirals, teaching the importance of good nutritution, the amazing value of personal touch and care, and the eternal value of Christian spiritual healing, over eighty percent of today's patients leave our premises to return hom and continue with life in the local community.
