A BIG thank you to Anthony!

Living Hope would like to say a BIG thank you to Anthony, a grade 7 learner
from the Cape Town area, who took it upon himself to collect stationery and
books for children less forunate than himself. Anthony, not only approached
his school and his sisters school for donations, once he had received all the
stationery and book donations, he spent his December school holidays sorted
out through the trailer load of donations.

Anthony, we greatly appreciate you and your families hard work and for never
giving up. There were many children who benefited from your collection
and started school this year with their very own pencil case and stationery
because of you.

Overcome Heights children learn about hygiene

On the 16 January the Overcome Heights afternoon children’s club held their
very own hygiene day. Thanks to our volunteers for their help we were able to
teach the importance of hand washing, keeping your nails cut and clean and
basic personal hygiene.
